The Unity Project is a Resilience Learning System that partners with after school programs for middle and high school students. Through our unique hands-on learning system we empower youth to transform challenges into opportunities for personal growth and united action. Using a series of fun and interactive steps that build positive decision making skills, the Unity Project helps students improve situations they identify as important to them in their everyday lives. By being engaged in changing their world for the better, students build motivation and powerful leadership skills that are necessary for success at home, school, work and in their communities.

The innovative Unity Project methods are based on solid research and field experience and are eagerly sought after by large networks of after school program providers hoping to bring the best services to their students in a highly effective and cost efficient way. The Unity Project has partnered with Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) to implement its programming throughout its entire network of 10,000 affiliate sites around the country reaching over 350,000 teens. Similarly, the Department of Youth and Community Development of the City of New York (DYCD) has asked the Unity Project to bring its programming to 201 after school programs throughout the city serving an additional 23,000 youth.
